Where do I even begin? These past two weeks have been non-stop going, going, going.
It's been alot of job hopping, starbucks hopping, restaurant/bar hopping. One place to another & there never seems to be any time to go home & stay home. My laundry room is in a constant state of disarray. Between all the jobs & social outings, I feel like I change my clothes three or four times a day.

Halloween weekend is approaching & I couldn't be more excited. I've got plans with friends for Friday, Saturday & Sunday so it's going to be jam packed & I imagine that come Monday, I will be completely exhausted & in need of a weekend again. I will be sure to post plenty of photos next week because my costume makes me laugh. I'm hoping to make others laugh as well with it.

I've been staying at my parents' house for the past few days as they've been in Atlanta. But I am home now & my apartment is in need of a little TLC. So, I better get to it because tomorrow is another jam-packed, exciting day!

Hope everyone is well & despite my quietness, I am still keeping up with all your lovely lives.
& still have all little tricks (& treats!) up my sleeve for the near future.

Halloween is my absolute FAVORITE holiday. Not only because most of the decor is made up of black glitter, crows, and skeletons, but because it takes place during my favorite month. My plan this year was to stay in with my bestfriend Kayla & enjoy passing out candy to little kids & watching bad horror movies. Parties are always sort of a bust for me on Halloween, although I enjoy dressing up. My friends are usually out of town so it's always a bit of a bummer. However, this year my very best guy friend is throwing a big party on the 30th & another close friend is throwing a party on the 31st. So, now I actually have two parties to attend, which I am really excited about!

This calls for a good costume. I can't exactly give away what I am being for Halloween but I thought I'd share some images that inspired me while I made my decision. I changed my mind about 100 times before I decided on something so bizarrely perfect for me. I have no idea how the idea even came to me.
My imagination really baffles me sometimes...

I'll be sure to share lots of photos come next weekend when the festivities begin!

As of late...

- I've been eating like a football player. & I quote, "I have never seen you eat so much!"
That came from my manager at Pier One, who has known me for four years...
- I've watched six seasons of Sex & the City.
- I've been creating oodles of wishlists for my future self...when I have that future money...
- I've been working like crazy & loving every minute of it.
- I've been reading Freedom by Jonathan Franzen.
- I've been laughing until I cry, loving with no bounds, sharing all my deepest desires,
& living completely by the seat of my pants, without fear of judgement or pain.

I've been living. Happily living.

Sometimes I wonder if I will ever be a morning person. I mean I want to be, but I just don't ever see it happening.
Those few mornings where I peel myself from my cozy sheets & go for a run at the park gives me such a sense of joy that I feel my heart might beat out of my chest, however it's just not enough to get me up every morning. Let alone more than once a week. Hmph...

I feel like I'm getting better at this whole juggling three jobs, a social life, a family life, & the whole keeping my apartment clean life. However, I fear that I won't be able to find enough time to pack this place up & move home. Moving is such a headache. It's really the last thing in the world that I want to do. Especially moving into a place that you know you'll be moving out of once the seasons change. It gives me a headache. A big fat headache.

Tomorrow I have to peel myself out of bed at 8am to take two youngins to the zoo. These boys are three & five so I'm hoping I don't end up losing one of them or having to watch one get eaten my a lion. I mean anything is possible, really.

On that note, I'm going to finish season five of Sex & The City and get some sleep.

The past couple of weeks have been a complete blur.
I have been working like an insane person. Usually 50-60 hours a week.
Long days & even longer nights,
but I am so happy. Things just keep getting better.

hello, friends.
I am in fact alive! Just incredibly busy & a wee bit scattered.
I have been housesitting for the past week & don't have the best internet connection.
I'm sitting at starbucks, enjoying the pretty fall weather & a venti iced latte. mmm!
I have to admit, it's been nice taking a break from the internet & television.
I even cancelled my cable at the apartment, which brings me to my next discussion.

MOVING. I am canceling the lease on my apartment because it is absurdly expensive.
Living in Franklin is convenient and all but it's entirely too boring for me.
Therefore, I think I will be making a tough decision - to move home - for 3 months.
Those three months would allow me to save up money, pay off my credit card,
& really figure some things out financially. I just can't imagine living at home again.
My parents are amazing and they live in the most incredible house,
I just never imagined living with them again.
It would be extremely temporary though. I mean...three months. I can do that, right?

Growing up is kind of freaking me out as of late. I've been really anxious to get a
move on with my life and figure things out. However, lately I've been trying to slow down as much
as possible. Trying to enjoy each day as it comes. I've got forever to figure things out, right?

Let's hope so.

Lauren has left me for another. And that other is Paris, France.
(& the rest of Europe, really.)
She's gone and won't return until Christmas. What will I do?
This will be the longest we've gone without each other in 12 years.
Count em'. 1-2-3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-11-12.
I couldn't be more excited for her though. She'll be seeing more of the world
in these next three months than most of us ever will.
I'm just going to miss the heck out of her.

In other news, I am falling in love with my life.
It has truly become a surreal thing. Just waiting for someone to pinch me.

I've gotten back to the basics lately.
Running in the park, antiquing in downtown, laughing until I cry,
appreciating life, being grateful for every little thing that I have.
Life is good, good, good.
